There isn't much to report, but I guess I owe it to you guys to give you all a brief overview of what's going on, at least explain why there's such a slack-off when it comes to updating a such.
My family is currently in the process of selling the house, which means I have to be ready to leave the house so the buyers can browse around at a moment's notice. I'd love to head somewhere where I can gleefully waste 2-3 hours of my day, like the mall or even the library so I can work on my books, however, with my grandmother and my dog with me, I can't just leave them in the car for long periods of time, so unfortunately, there's very little time for me to really collect myself and draw anything worthwhile. We think we may have a solid buyer now, which is great in terms of my mom finding some kind of financial stability and that I no longer have to get shooed out of the house with only a half hour's notice, however now we're all kind of in the bittersweet moment in time when we begin to realize that we may be leaving our home.
So, what this all means in terms of art is that my scanner is packed in storage, which means no new 8.5x11" images for awhile.
This will not interfere with commission uploading, as commissions are done on 9x12" paper and are photographed, regardless, as my scanner is too small said paper size. 1. First off,
thank you so, so, so much to all the favs & new watches I've received over the past few weeks--it's really been kind of unexpected considering how nothing new has been going on, so I'm just really appreciative of that!
2. I'm still uploading "TPD," having scanned and saved all of the pages on my harddrive months ago, having anticipated having to put my scanner in storage. I apologize for the up-in-the-air schedule, but since I got out of school for the summer, I haven't had a lot of time to do much on DA expect check messages (TPD takes a few extra minutes for me to upload due to all the links and text formatting).
3. I will be uploading the occasional image to my sketchblog: http:www.alexastudios.tumblr.com
As a sketch blog, I'm not as concerned with the quality (though I'll try not to make it terrible), so photographed drawings will show up throughout the summer.
4. Since I'm not going to be doing too much on DA (as of now, at least), I'll be working on my other online outlets, mainly my art store on Society6 and my bookstore on Lulu. Expect more stuff to slowly show up on either site!

[link]Thanks for being so patient with me--that goes for my watchers, commisioners & even those of you who just skim through my gallery every once in awhile. Seriously, you guys are friggin' awesome.
